The Green Valley 32-Gallon Square Trash Can is easy to maintain and protects the planet from excess waste. PolyTuf planks guard the trash can’s integrity against the elements, and the steel frame holds up under harsh conditions. The planks are available in five colors, and the frame has 25 color options.
Note that the lid is a separate purchase available from Wabash Valley Furnishings. The receptacle comes with a plastic liner and a portable option.
Product Details and Features
Green Valley manufactures this 32-Gallon Trash Receptacle with 6063-grade extruded aluminum tubing and 1/8 inch thick aluminum plating for the end caps. The side panels are made of 14-gauge sheet steel, and the floors have 10-gauge sheet steel with 1/4-inch flat bar mounting brackets. The reinforcement prevents the can from sagging or warping.
The Green Valley 32-Gallon Square Trash Can uses a zinc-rich powder finish on the frame to maintain the highest quality can over time. Manufacturers apply the zinc-rich powder over a seven-step process. The steps include using electrostatic methods, curing the surface with epoxy and adding a polyester topcoat.
When tested with the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) 2604-05, this process met the requirements easily. The powder resists chemicals, corrosion, abrasion, adhesion and more.
Refined PolyTuf Technology
PolyTuf plastic lumber replaces wood with an attractive alternative that:
- Will not splinter or crack.
- Is impenetrable to water absorption.
- Is resistant to UV rays.
This plastic lumber also saves the environment since it is made from 95% recycled plastic. PolyTuf is low maintenance since it does not require painting or staining and the planks come preassembled for convenient installation.
